Basic Travel Requirements for Swazis visiting Panama
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Panamanian Visa.
- Swazis are to apply for an authorized visa from the embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.
- A Swaziland passport valid for at least 3 months after entry into Panama.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
- The birth certificate of the minor is required as well as a letter of consent signed by both parents.
- A valid means of identification of your host is required.
- Three passport-size photographs (35 x 45 mm) taken in the white background that meets the visa photo specification.
- For non-Swazis, a resident permit is needed.
- You must also show proof of economic solvency for a minimum of US $ 500.00 upon entering.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Round trip ticket.
- Documentation showing applicant’s ties to the home country, e.g. verification from the applicant’s employer.
- A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
- Valid medical insurance.

- This visa is for people intending to visit Panama for tourism purposes.
- Any visitor who wants to visit Panama as a tourist will need to be in possession of a valid passport and an onward or return ticket.
- You can visit friends and family with this visa type.
- The Panama tourist visa is a restrictive visa that visitors need to obtain before they enter Panama.
- The duration of stay granted for this visa type is determined by the migration authorities but it usually offers a stay of up to 90 days.
- Applicants must ensure that the passport photograph they use matches or corresponds to all the specifications required for visa photographs. They will need to submit two copies of the passport photograph along with the visa application form.
- You will be required to pay $50 for the migratory services at the National Service of Immigration.

- A statement signed by the applicant before a Notary Public, indicating the total of the minimum required capital invested, the role of the applicant in the company, as well as detailing the Panama business activities of the company should be provided.
- A cover letter stating the purpose and duration of your stay is required for the business visa.
- You are to present a valid return ticket to show that you will leave the country before your visa expires.
