Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lithuanian Visa.

  • Valid passport issued within the last ten years. The passport must contain two blank pages and be valid for not less than 3 months after the intended exit from the country.

Lithuania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Eligible applicants of the Tourist Visa are those visiting Lithuania for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation, and recreation.
  • Foreigners who have been invited to the country by their friends or relatives residing in the country are also eligible for this visa.
  • If you are visiting a friend or relative in the country, a letter of invitation from your host is required. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must contain the valid contact information of the host.
  • Applicants who are employed are required to present a certificate of employment. It should specify the date of recruitment of the applicant, job position, and salary level of the applicant.

  • Other activities that business travelers are permitted to take part in include attend conferences, seminars, and trade fairs.
  • A letter of invitation from the inviting company, printed on the official company paper is required. The letter must contain the contact information of the company, the nature of the business to be carried out, and the duration of the visit.
  • The letter must also state who will bear the travel and living cost of the applicant.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer must also be provided. The letter should state confirmation of business leave and the duration of the business trip.
  • If there have been previous trade relations between the host company and the inviting company, proof of this is required.
  • Proof of payment of non-refundable visa application fee is required.
  • The documents to be presented must be in either the English language or the language that is spoken in Lithuania.

Lithuania Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicants of this visa have the intention of traveling to Lithuania to seek and receive medical treatment.
  • A certificate from the applicant’s medical doctor in Egypt is required. The certificate should state the medical history of the patient and what kind of medical treatment is needed.
  • An official document from the receiving medical institution in Lithuania confirming that it can perform the specific medical treatment required by the applicant.

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of making short stops in Lithuania before traveling to their destination country.
