Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Philippines

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Filipino Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Correctly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.

Philippines Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to Egyptians traveling to the Philippines for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
  • All travelers who have the intention of visiting their friends and relatives in the country are eligible to apply for this visa.
  • A letter of invitation from the friend or relative you will be visiting is required. It could be sent by fax or e-mail to the Embassy of Philippines in Egypt.
  • The letter of invitation should contain the valid contact information of the host in the Philippines. It should be accompanied by a copy of the host’s passport.
  • Foreigners who have the intention of staying longer than the 30-day validity of the visa can apply for an extension at the Bureau of Immigration.
  • Minors applying for this visa are required to present a copy of their birth certificate. A letter of guarantee signed both parents of the minor should also be provided.
  • Holders of this visa are not allowed to engage in business activities or actively study in any of the academic institutions in the country.
  • All documents to be submitted must be in the English language.

Philippines Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Foreigners applying for this visa are those who have the intention of engaging in business activities during their time in the country.
  • Business travelers are allowed to sign and negotiate business contracts with their partners in the country.
  • A letter from the inviting company stating the nature of the applicant’s trip is required.
  • A letter from the HR of the company the applicant is employed stating the monthly salary and position of the applicant is required.
  • The letter must state who will bear the costs of the applicant’s finances while he/she is in the country.
  • This visa does not allow you to engage in activities that are not declared.
  • If the applicant of this visa is a minor, the birth certificate of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided. A letter of consent signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
  • All the documents to be submitted during the visa application process should be in the English language.

Philippines Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who are visiting the Philippines for the sole purpose of taking up a course of study at a university, seminary, academy, college or school approved for foreign students by the Commission on Higher Education.
  • The student must have enrolled and be accepted by the institution they have been accepted into before they are issued this visa.
  • Before the institution accepts the student, the student’s application package must have been approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
  • The original copy of the school’s Notice of Acceptance (NOA) addressed to the student and containing a clear impression of the school’s dry seal is required.
  • If enrolled in courses where restrictions may exist due to a shortage of facilities, the original copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA) issued by the Commission of Higher Education is required.
  • A police clearance issued by the national police authorities in Egypt is required.
  • Medical Health Certificate issued by an authorized physician or medical institution including a chest x-ray.
  • Applicants of this visa must be at least 18 years old before they are granted the visa.
