Entry Requirements

  • Congo citizens can travel to Cameroon without visa for a maximum duration of 90 days provided they possess a passport.
  • The passports of citizens are to have a minimum of six months of validity upon entry into Cameroon.
  • The passports are  also expected to have at least two blank pages for stamps on arrival and departure from Cameroon.
  • Congo passport holders must have a return/onward ticket, and must also provide proof of hotel accommodation.
  • They can extend their stay for another 90 days at the Immigration office. 
  • Congolese visiting Cameroon with pets must have a certificate of vaccination issued less than 48 hours before arrival in the country and must obtain an import license from the Embassy or high commission.
  • Travellers arriving with pets may be subject to a tax of 5,000 (CFA Franc-XAF) per pet.
  • All visitors are required to pay an airport tax of 10,000 (CFA Franc-XAF) upon departure from the airport.
  • They must provide proof of sufficient funds to support their stay in Cameroon through a recent bank statement.
  • Congolese visiting Cameroon must check for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia, and influenza vaccines.
