Visiting Germany is a vacation worth taking for every traveler. Germany Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The visa application form should be fully and correctly completed, printed, and signed by the applicant.
  • The application form must be completed in English or German. 
  • Valid national passport must have at least one blank page in order to be able to affix a visa sticker on it.
  • Personal bank statements for the last three months
  • A confirmation letter from the applicant's health insurance stating coverage for emergency medical treatment with a minimum of €30,000.
  • Proof of accommodation which could either be a hotel booking for the whole stay in the Germany r a letter of invitation by a family member or friend residing in Germany
  • Proof of flight reservation.
  • Proof of financial means. This could be a bank statement not older than three months.
  • A personal cover letter should explain the reason why the applicant wishes to visit Germany, how long the applicant intends to remain there, and what the applicant will be doing there, amongst others.
  • A letter of invitation from the person the applicant is visiting in Germany, which may take the form of sponsorship or private accommodation.
  • The invitation letter should also include the address, period of stay and contact details of the host.
  • For minors, consent letter signed by both parents and a copy of the parent(s)’ passports data page.

Germany Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The signed visa application form must be fully completed with correct and honest information.
  • two identical passport photograph that is taken with the last three months is required.
  • Valid national passport – no older than 10 years, with a validity of three months beyond your planned stay in Germany.
  • The passport must have at least one blank page to affix the visa sticker.
  • A document that confirms you have obtained health insurance, which will cover costs of at least 30,000 Euros in case of an accident or illness and repatriation in case of death.
  • The insurance must cover the whole stay in Germany.
  • Travel itinerary which include flight reservation, rail tickets or other means of transport which you are planning to use to reach Germany.
  • Proof of accommodation for your entire stay in Germany. – which could be a hotel booking (with details including the address, phone number and email of the hotel).
  • If self-employed: Certificate of Proprietorship or other proof of ownership (proof of land title, proof of income from agriculture (sales form).
  • Applicant's company bank statements from the previous three months
  • Invitation letter from the business partner in Germany in English or German mentioning the invitee details, the dates, and purpose of the trip with detailed schedule of the business meetings or training.
  • The detailed schedule of your business meetings (ONLY for stays over 30 days)
  • Company covering letter with entire travel plan (itinerary) mentioning your position, duration of your service, the dates and purpose of the trip and if your expenses are being covered by the employer.
  • Certificate of Incorporation of the company.

Germany Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Two duly completed national visa application forms.
  • National passport must be valid for at least three months beyond stay in Germany.
  • University admission letter showing proof of admission into a study program in Germany.
  • Authenticated certificates of earlier education are required.
  • it is estimated that a foreign student in Germany spends an average of €720 euros per month at a minimum. 
  • Curriculum vitae. It has to be accompanied with shreds of evidence, previous and current internship and work experiences if any.
  • Letter of declaration by the applicant's parents showing their commitment to support the applicant financially during the stay here. It must be supplemented by their bank statements of the latest 6 months.
  • Scholarship awarding certificate showing the applicant as a receiver and the amount of financial coverage granted to the applicant by this scholarship.
  • Health insurance must have coverage of at least 30,000 EUR and it must be valid for at least 3 months.
  • Motivation  letter expressing the reason for choosing the specific university, study program.
  • the letter must indicate the applicant's study and future plans and how these studies will be improving the applicant's career and life.
  • Proof of having paid the visa application fee. The fee is 60 EUR.
  • Proof of English language proficiency. (For English and mixed-language study programs).

Germany Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Valid passport with a validity of three months beyond your planned date of return to your home country.
  • It should also have a blank page for the visa sticker.
  • A letter issued by your health insurance company that confirms you have travel insurance, which covers any medical emergency or hospitalization with a minimum of €30,000.
  • Certificate from a medical doctor confirming the need for specific medical treatment in Germany
  • Certificate from a medical doctor confirming that necessary treatment can be provided by a clinic/hospital in Germany
  • Proof of an appointment made at this clinic/hospital
  • Proof of advance payment of the treatment / financial arrangements with the medical doctor in Germany
  • Correspondence between the sending medical doctor and the receiving medical doctor
  • A guarantee letter from the applicant to assure the patient’s capacity to cope with the extra medical costs (when expecting unforeseen costs of medical treatment to happen)
  • If you are going to stay at a hospital throughout your whole period in Germany, you should submit a confirmation by this hospital to prove that. If not, then you should submit either a hotel booking, an invitation letter by a german host.
  • Proof of financial status a bank statement or letter of sponsorship through which another party confirms they will be covering your expenses. 
  • Minors are required to submit birth and a certificate and letter of Consent from the other parent translated in English or German language.
