Mpekweni Beach Resort

Mpekweni Beach Resort is a stunningly beautiful beach resort situated along the Sunshine Coast of South Africa, surrounded by white sand dunes, an endless unspoiled secluded beach, and a tranquil lagoon.
Whatever your budget and preferences, Mpekweni has a room type to suit your needs. Choose from our range of inter-leading shower rooms and family deck rooms with pool views to lagoon-facing rooms and beachfront twin rooms.
Mpekweni Beach Resort also boasts the new multistory Luxury Family Rooms and Suites, complete with manicured gardens and spectacular sea views.
The budget shower rooms, have one queen size bed, and the bathroom has a small shower. Some rooms are inter-leading.
The Standard Family rooms have one double bed and two single beds in the room. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Meal
Buffet meals are subject to a maximum number of guests in the house. Should the maximum number not be reached a 3-course plated dinner is served.
Under no circumstances will any guest be authorized to bring any beverages onto Mpekweni Beach Resort premises for consumption in the rooms or on the property. Any non-adherence to this policy will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation and the applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
All our rooms are non–smoking. No Smoking of cigarettes or Hubbly Bubbly is permitted.
Should the rooms be damaged during your stay, the full amount of the damage is to be settled prior to your departure.
Specific rooms cannot be guaranteed, however, the Resort will endeavor, where possible to accommodate individual requests.
No drinks are permitted to be brought onto the premises. Should any guest bring drinks they will be confiscated and returned upon check out.
There are no facilities to withdraw cash at the Resort. The nearest ATMs are in Port Alfred, 38 km away.

Child Policy
Each room will have a charge of a minimum of two adults before the children rates apply.
Children occupying a beach room pay full adult rates.
The rate for an inter-leading room for children aged 0 – 11 years is R670.00 per child per night, children aged 12 – 17 Years are charged R 1090.00 per child per night (Inclusive of dinner bed, and breakfast).
Children aged 1 - 11 years sharing a standard family room with 2 adults are charged R420.00 per child per night inclusive of dinner bed and breakfast. 12 - 16 years are charged R695.00 per child per night (Inclusive of dinner bed and breakfast).
