Castle Forest Lodge is located deep in the thick forest on the slopes to the south of Mount Kenya. It is set in a natural surrounding of rainforest, fresh water rivers with falls, a fabulous view of the valley on one side of the lodge, and the impressive peaks of Mount Kenya on the other.
Budget rooms are in the Main House and are one double and two twins. They shower and toilet is shared, they are above the kitchen, bar, and restaurant.
Cottages are round huts for one or two people with a double or two single beds. Each hut has its individual theme, a private en-suite shower and toilet and a fire place where a fire is lit at night.
The Bungalows have 2 bedrooms each, a living room with fire place, a Verandah overlooking the fields, the forest and the valley in the distance. Each bungalow has a shower and toilet.
The Chalet can accommodate between 2 - 4 adults, with a maximum of 6 for the Chalet Telluride which is a spacious cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Chalet Montane is beautiful cabin which sleeps 4.
