Located in the quiet University town of Abraka, on the bank of River Ethiope, the crystal-clear river which is fed by a spring, flows through a forested area. The Abraka river resort motel has a sandy beach on the river with tables and umbrellas, and you can ride on a local canoe. The water is safe for swimming and is so clear that you can see the fish at the bottom between 3-5m below. The source of River Ethiope is from under a silk tree. Facilities include table tennis, beach volley ball, a bar and a restaurant.

What I saw online was totally different from what I saw at the hotel, customer service was also bad.

I did not enjoy my stay at the Rivotel hotel. It was a really bad experience. The hotel is very old fashioned, the water and power supply were terrible. The hotel needs a massive upgrade and I hope they can make improvements.

My stay at Rivotel was okay. Everything about the hotel was in place except that my meal got really delayed at night and was very frustrating but the problem was rectified after a while, asides that, it was a good stay.
