Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swedish Visa.
- An original passport with at least six (6) months validity with two or more blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

Sweden Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Student visa is issued to Algerian nationals who are looking forward to visiting the country for educational purposes. They must, however, be admitted to a full-time accredited university for studies in Sweden.
- The Student visa can be issued for short-stay of 90 days.
- Foreigners whose course of study is very short or under 90 days will not be eligible for residence permit application in Sweden.
- The students who are travelling to Sweden for more than three months will require visa and residence permits to stay in the country throughout their course duration.
- Students can work while they are pursuing their education from Sweden.
- There is no upper limit to the number of hours a student can work for.
- Students who have completed their studies from Sweden can apply for and get an extension of their Residence Permit for 6 months to seek suitable employment.

- A student is required to mandatorily complete a minimum study of 40 hours a week.

No, the Embassy does not decide on priority for a case. When you schedule an appointment you will be given the first available appointment.
