Visa type details
Tourist visa
- An Armenian Tourist visa is issued to foreigners who intend to visit Armenia for tourism, visiting of family and friends, studies and business purposes.
- Visa validity is 120 days but can be extended for a maximum of 60 days.
- Applicants are charged $1 for each day of extension.
- One completed and signed application form.
- Two recent passport photographs attached to the application form.
- Original Angolan passport with a minimum of 6-month validity.
- Passport must have at least one blank page for stamp.
- Copy of confirmed round trip tickets showing entry and exit dates.
- Copy of confirmed hotel reservation serving as proof of accommodation in Armenia.
- A letter of invitation from family, friend, company, organization or educational institute in Armenia is required.
- The letter must include the purpose and duration of stay.
- Approval letter from the company in Angola should indicate that the employer is aware of leave and the applicant is of good conduct.
- It should also be stated in the letter if the host be it, family, friend or business organization will be responsible for the financial expenses of applicants.

- Transit visa allows a stay of 3 days including entry and exit days and can be extended for 4 days.

- Applicants must not stay in Armenia territory for more than 3 days except for emergency cases.
