Visa type details

Tourist visa

  • An Armenian Tourist visa is issued to foreigners who intend to visit Armenia for tourism, visiting of family and friends, studies and business purposes.
  • Visa validity is 120 days but can be extended for a maximum of 60 days.
  • Applicants are charged $1 for each day of extension.
  • One completed and signed application form.
  • Two recent passport photographs attached to the application form.
  • Original Angolan passport with a minimum of 6-month validity.
  • Passport must have at least one blank page for stamp.
  • Copy of confirmed round trip tickets showing entry and exit dates.
  • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation serving as proof of accommodation in Armenia.
  • A letter of invitation from family, friend, company, organization or educational institute in Armenia is required.
  • The letter must include the purpose and duration of stay.
  • Approval letter from the company in Angola should indicate that the employer is aware of leave and the applicant is of good conduct.

  • Transit visa allows a stay of 3 days including entry and exit days and can be extended for 4 days.
