Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Bhutan

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bhutanese Visa.

  • Original passport with at least 6 months validity beyond stay in Bhutan.
  • Passport with at least two blank pages for Bhutan visa stamp.
  • Bhutan visa application form that is correctly filled up and signed.

Bhutan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to a foreigner for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation and recreational purposes in Bhutan.
  • Holders of a tourist visa can also visit family relatives or friends in Bhutan.
  • Original Angola Passport with 6-month validity beyond stay in Bhutan.
  • Passport should have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamp

  • The processing time to get a tourist visa is within 3 business days

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months following the date of your arrival to Bhutan.

  • Letter from applicant’s employer from the company in Angola explaining applicant’s job position held in Angola, and duration of the business leave.
  • Self-employed applicants should submit a copy of business certificates and registration. A copy of income tax return should also be submitted. 
  • Proof of previous business transaction with the company, if available, is required.
