Documents Angolan applicants need to provide.
- Applicant signed passport must be valid for 6 months past date of exit.
- The passport should have 1 blank visa page required for a visa stamp or sticker by the Embassy or consulate.
- Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn).
- The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
- The applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency showing a departure from the Angola and arrival/departure from the Gambia.
- Applicant must submit one complete, signed visa application.
- Applications must be printed and signed in blue or black ink only. Original signatures are required.
- World Health Organization (WHO) card with yellow fever vaccination for people coming from countries where Yellow Fever infection is common.
- Extensions to stays can be requested at the Department of Immigration in Banjul.
- Applicants who stay beyond the allowed time will be fined.
- Proof of Sufficient funds by providing bank statements for the last 3 months.

- Applicants are required to submit a signed passport having 6 months' validity beyond the date of departure from the Gambia.
- Angola passport should be having one (1) completely blank visa pages.
- Gambia visa application form fully completed and signed.
- 1 Recent Professional Passport-type photograph, attached to the application but should not be stapled to the application form.
- Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary.
- A covering letter from the Applicant, giving the purpose of travel.
- Sponsorship Letter from friends or relatives.
- The applicant requires proof of accommodation or hotel reservations.
- Applicants are required to provide a bank statement for the last 3 months.
- Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
- A confirmed/ onward return air ticket showing that the applicant has intentions of returning to Angola.
- Original Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination and its photocopy. The yellow fever vaccination certificate should be valid for 10 years.
Business visa
- Original and signed Angola passport having one completely blank page for entry stamp is required.
- Angola should have at least 6 months' validity after an intended stay in The Gambia.
- Visa application form should be fully completed and signed by the applicant.
- 1 Recent Passport photograph taken against a white background.
- Copy of travel itinerary showing arrival and departure date from the Gambia.
- A business letter that is typewritten on the Angolan company letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Gambia, explaining the purpose of travel and guaranteeing financial support for the applicant while in the Gambia is required.
- The letter should also state the business reference to be visited in the Gambia.
- An Invitation Letter from the business partner in the Gambia stating the type of business to be conducted in the Gambia.
- Police report showing the applicant has no criminal record in Angola. The police report should be issued by the local police department in Angola
- A confirmed/ onward return air ticket is to be submitted by the applicant.
- Bank statements for the last 3 months showing that the applicant has enough funds for the entire duration of stay in The Gambia.
- Applicants are required to proved Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
- Original Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination and its photocopy is to be submitted.
