Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Honduras

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Honduran Visa.

  • Original passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least three adjacent blank passport pages for Angolan visa stamps.
  • Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and with a WHITE background.
  • Applicants' name must be written on the back of the photos. The Angolan Consulate has strict photo requirements, men must be wearing a shirt and tie, and women must me modestly covered to the neck.
  • Original bank statement from the past three months prior to the visa application.
  • Valid travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Confirmed accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.

Honduras Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Business Visa allows foreigners to engage in business activities whilst they are in Honduras
  • Three passport photographs (3cm x 4cm), recently taken
  • A letter of invitation from sponsor in Angola either host company or individual addressed to the specific Consulate where the visa application will be submitted, explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel.
  • Flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency, or a  copy of airline ticket showing entry and departure from Angola.
  • Proof of return ticket.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds ($200.00 per day) to support stay in Angola. Either a statement of guarantee of financial responsibility from the host company in Angola included in the Letter of Invitation, or a copy of the traveler’s bank statement.
  • Documentation or a letter confirming the collection of income tax, provided by the business to be visited in Angola.
  • The application form, letter of invitation, business letter and any relevant supporting documentation must be addressed to the specific Angolan Consulate where the application will be submitted 
  • Yellow Fever Vaccine Certificate
  • Proof of payment of all visa fees

Honduras Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Tourist visas are issued for the pursuit of recreational activities, or participation in cultural and sporting events.
  • The passport used in this application should be valid for at least 6 months and have a blank page for a visa.
  • An invitation letter from a host in Honduras detailing purpose and duration of stay will be required if you will be staying with someone in Honduras. Your host is to also submit a copy of the letter at the relevant Regional Department for Border and Migration where the host is living.
  • If invited by a tourism agency in Angola, you will be required to provide a notarized photocopy of the tourism agency's license.
  • A valid means of identification of your host is also important.
  • Proof of accommodation in the country is necessary. This could be in the form of  a hotel reservation or a confirmation that you'll be accommodated by your host in Honduras

Honduras Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The work visa is issued to foreigners who have been offered employment by a Honduran company.
  • The application for this visa requires the cooperation of the company that will be employing the applicant.
  • Applicants are to fill a visa application form from the embassy and present a valid passport.
  • The company of employment serves as the sponsor for the applicant. Hence, the company is required to present a letter stating the applicant's intending position and expected salary to be paid.
  • The company is also expected to ensure that the applicant is issued a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) as this is a vital part of the application process. 
  • The COE is issued by the immigration bureau under the jurisdiction of the Japan Ministry of justice. A photocopy of the certificate is to be carried along with the original. 
  • Work visas are normally issued to be valid for a period of 1-3 years.   
  • Applicants are required to take their letter of employment and work contract to the embassy for application.
  • For employed applicants, a  Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing proof of previous work experience should be submitted along with the contract letter.
  • Applicants are to obtain a residence and work permit.
  • Applicants can renew their work visas if they are found eligible to renew it.
