Hong Kong Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The transit visa enable Angolans to stay in Hong Kong for a short period of time.
  • This visa also enables foreigners to transit through Hong Kong to their destination country.
  • You are required to possess the visa and flight ticket of your destination country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
  • Foreigners who have been previously convicted may not be issued this visa.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
  • You are not allowed to study or take up employment during your time in the country.
  • The documents submitted by applicants should be in either Chinese or English
  • The visa is valid for 4 weeks.
  • You are required to exit the country before the expiration of your visa.
  • This visa cannot be extended.

Hong Kong Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A photocopy of your letter of admission from a university in Hong Kong and your letter of acceptance to study the specific course.
  • Photocopy of Passport.
  • A photocopy of Identity card travel document which contains personal credentials.
  • Form ID 995A, completed and signed by the applicant
  • Form ID 995B, completed and signed by the sponsor
  • One passport-sized recent photograph.
  • Photocopy of Highest Public Examination Academic Result along with transcripts, awards, and certificates.
  • If the school requires that you write IELTS or a TOEFL, then you must provide proof of these qualifications.
  • Proof of your financial condition. Proof of scholarship funds, bank statements, passbooks, etc. This is to prove that you can afford education and living expenses in Hong Kong. A proof of HK$120,000 approximately is expected, rest depends on the educational program under consideration.
  • Evidence of your accommodation arrangement in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Your Angolan visa must be valid and have a minimum validity of 6 months from your intended date of departure from Hong Kong.
  • A visa application form must be fully completed and signed before submission. You are advised to crosscheck for any errors and adhere strictly to the submission guidelines so as not to delay the processing of your visa application.
  • You are to attach a passport-size photograph on page 1 of the visa application form.
  • You are required to make a clear coloured photocopy of the bio-data page of your passport (that is, the first page of your passport showing your personal details, date of issue and expiry of the passport).
  • The applicant is to have sufficient funds to cover the costs of the duration of their stay.
  • Employed applicants should provide proof of employment by submitting a copy of employment letter signed by the employer stating your role in the company and your salary. You should also provide a leave letter from your employer.
  • As proof that you intend to return to your country of origin, you are required to tender a roundtrip flight ticket showing entry and exit dates to/from Hong Kong as well as the flight numbers.
  • You should provide a copy of your travel itinerary or proof that you are joining a tour.
  • If you are visiting family, you are to submit proof of your relationship with your host in Hong Kong.
  • Hong Kong tourist visa is not extendable.
  • The tourist visa does not permit its holder to take up paid/unpaid employment or start a business in Hong Kong.
  • The tourist visa also does not permit its holder to enrol in a school.
  • Hong Kong tourist visa allows Multiple Entry.

Hong Kong Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The business visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to Hong Kong for business purposes.
  • The passport used for your visa application must contain at least two blank pages and have a validity of not less than 6 months beyond the date you intend to leave Hong Kong.
  • You should note that the business visa does NOT permit its holder to take up employment whilst in Hong Kong.
  • With a business visa, you may attend short-term business summits or other business meetings and settle compensations or other civil proceedings.
  • While the business visa allows you to attend an event to deliver speeches or presentations, it does not permit you to be paid for speaking or presenting at the event other than the provision of accommodation, passage, meals, etc. relating to the event, or the reimbursement of such expenses.
  • A visa application form must be fully completed and signed before submission. You are advised to crosscheck for any errors and adhere strictly to the submission guideline so as not to delay the processing of your visa application.
  • If you are employed, you must not only provide proof of your employment ( employment contract, bank account statements of the last six months, Income Tax Return but also provide a leave letter excusing you from work for the entire duration you intend to stay in Hong Kong.
  • You are also required to obtain a letter of invitation from the partner company organization in Hong Kong. This letter must state the purpose of your visit and who will take care of all your expenses your company or the partner company while in Hong Kong ).
  • If there exist previous trade relations between your company and the partner company in Hong Kong, you should provide proof of this.
  • If you are attending a trade fair or exhibition, you must submit a letter issued by a trade body to confirm your attendance at such an event.
