Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Ireland

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Irish Visa.


  • Your Angolan passport must have a validity of at least 6 months and one blank space for visa stamp.
  • Duly completed visa application form which has been signed and stamped where necessary.
  • Photographs should not be more than 6 months old.
  • They may be in colour or black and white (b/w preferred).
  • Minimum photos size 35mm x 45mm, maximum size 38mm x 50mm 
  • The photograph should show a full front view of the subject's head, as he or she would normally appear.
  • Photographs should not show military or police uniforms.
  • Original birth certificate(for minors)
  • Only head coverings worn for religious reasons are permitted. Hairbands are not allowed.
  • For children under the age of 18 traveling alone, birth certificate and consent note signed by both parents is required.
  • Copy of travel itinerary
  • Copy of return flight ticket to country of origin.
  • Proof of sufficient finances to last the trip
