Application requirements

Documents Angolan applicants need to provide.

  • Completed and signed application for a visa to enter Israel
  • Passport (must be valid beyond one year from the date of the intended visit).
  • Two passport pictures.
  • The photo should have a white background. Your eyes should look straight into the camera. Size: 5 cm x 5 cm. It must be a new photo, taken recently.
  • Original letter of acceptance for study at a recognized educational institution in Israel.
  • Statement from the bank showing that you have the funds to support the stay in Israel while you are a student (Bank statement from the past three months).
  • Roundtrip airline tickets OR payment of next school year in the states (in the case of an exchange student).
  • Payment of the fee.
  • Bank statement of the last 3 months.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Travel itinerary.

Visa type details

Student visa

  • The Israeli student visa is for applicants intending to come to Israel to study.
  • The visa is valid for up to one year.
  • Recipients of this visa are not permitted to work in Israel.
  • A minor will not be given a visa without the written consent of both parents or his legal guardian.
  • Israeli student visa is a multiple entry visa.
  • Certification of acceptance for study at a recognized educational institution in Israel
  • Proof that the student has the financial means to pay for his studies and sustenance throughout his stay in Israel
  • A travel document that is valid for at least one year, provided that his country has a diplomatic mission in the State of Israel. If there is no such mission in Israel, the passport must be valid for the entire period of studies and another six months beyond that time
  • Payment of the fee
  • Applicants are required to present alongside their visa application, certification of acceptance for study at a recognized educational institution in Israel.
  • Applicants are advised to apply for their visa in person. Applications sent via mail will be rejected.
  • For security purposes, applicants are prohibited from bringing along personal objects to the embassy. These include handbags, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
  • Food, or beverage bottles or containers are also not allowed.
  • All documents must be sent to the Israeli missions via registered email

Visitor Visa

  • Isreali Visitor's visa is granted to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time. A Presentation of a travel document that is valid for at least six months beyond the period of the stay in Israel
  • A B/2 visa is also known as a tourist visa
  • A completed and signed application for a visa to enter Israel.
  • A person who enters Israel on a B/2 visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel
  • B/2 visa is valid for up to three months from the date of issue. The duration of the stay in Israel will be determined by the Border Police
  • A visitor who wishes to extend his visit may submit an application at one of the regional population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
  • The consul may request additional documents.
  • Since the fee is collected for handling the application, it will not be refunded to the applicant if the visa is not issued for any reason.
  • A photocopy of the applicant's travel document
  • Proof of the applicant's sufficient financial means for the visit to Israel (such as bank statements from the last three months)
  • Travallers who enter Israel on a B/2 visa are not allowed to work in the State of Israel.

Work visa

  • Israeli work visa is issued to those who intend to work in Israel.
  • Two passport pictures
  • Angolans intending to work in Israel are expected to submit a fully completed CV/resume stating at least five years of relevant work and education experience. With original certificates and qualifications included in the CV.
  • A medical report which is not dated more than three months is required during the application process. The medical report has to be issued by the county of residence or Israel and written in English.
  • For your work permit, a police certified criminal record is one of the many documents to be included during your visa issuance process. It shouldn’t be dated more than three months from the day the application is submitted.
  • Certified passport information and any previous Angolan visa stamps which are not more than three months during the time of application.
  • A B/1 visa is also known as work visa
  • The validity of the B/1 visa will be in accordance with the Ministry of Interior guidelines. The worker must enter Israel within the period of time specified in the visa and stay in the country as specified in the visa.
  • The application process takes five days, after which the entry visa is issued to your employer, who would then forward it to you.
