Documents Angolan applicants need to provide.

- A duly completed and signed visa application form.

- Three identical passport-size photographs (40 x 40 cm) must be submitted.

Visa type details
Tourist visa
- Holders of a Malian tourist visa visit Mali for tourism and leisure purposes.
- Angolans who have been invited by friends and relatives to Mali are also eligible for this visa.
- With this visa, Angolans can attend events and festivals taking place in the country while they are there.
- You must have an original Angolan passport with at least six-month validity.
- Two passport photos with white background must be included in your documents.
- A letter of invitation from your host should be provided and should include your host’s home address and telephone number.
- For applicants not staying with a family or relative, a copy of confirmed hotel reservation must be submitted. If staying in more than one hotel, please provide copies of each hotel reservations.
- The reservation of the flight itinerary should be under the traveller's name. It should state the exit and entry of flight.
- Holders of this visa can attend events and festivals taking place in the country while they are there.
- Minors travelling to Mali either with one or both parents have to submit a notarized letter of consent. The minor’s birth certificate should also be submitted.
- At the expiration of the visa, holders of a Malian tourist visa are expected to have leave. A proof of such intention is required.
- Evidence of payment of visa application fee is required.
- Angolans are not permitted to take up any form of employment while in Mali.
- A copy of the Angolan stay permit is required for non-Angolans.
- Travellers are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever before travelling to the country. A copy of an International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever is necessary.
Business visa
- The Mali Business Visa is for Angolans intending to visit Mali for business.
- An Angolan passport with at least six-month validity is required.
- While in Mali, you are only allowed to meet up with your business partners to negotiate and sign business contracts.
- Business travellers are permitted to attend conferences, trade fairs and business summits while they are in the country.
- Applicants who intend to attend conferences in the country are advised to register for the conference before they leave Angola. The certificate of registration should be submitted with the necessary documents during the visa process.
- A business letter from the sending company in Angola or the sponsoring company in Mali is required.
- The business letter from the sending company in Kenya must have the following requirements:
- Brief introduction of the applicant (that includes the position held in the company by the applicant)
- Nature of business to be conducted
- Guarantee of sufficient funds for the travel.
- A letter of invitation should be written with the company’s letterhead and state the duration and purpose of your visit.
- If the applicant’s expenses are to taken care of by the company, it should be stated in the letter provided by the company.
- The current employer should write a letter to the embassy to indicate the applicant’s employment status and position held in the company. This letter should also state the purpose of visit to Mali.
- A certificate of business registration of the company in Mali should be submitted with other documents.
- Non-Angolans should provide a copy of their stay permit in Angola.
- If you are travelling with a minor, the unabridged original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be submitted.
- Applicants on this visa cannot be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
- International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever is required.
Transit visa
- Angolans who want to make a brief stop in Mali while travelling are eligible to apply for a Malian visa.
- Applicants of this visa have the intention of boarding a connecting flight from Mali to their destination.
- An original and signed valid passport with at least one blank page for a Mali visa stamp is required.
- Two recent 2 x 2' colored passport photographs taken in front view and on a white background are required.
- A copy of an onward ticket is part of the document needed for the transit visa application. .
- Travelers are required to have proof of travel arrangements either from an airline or a travel agency.
- As an Angolan citizen with a transit visa, you are expected to present the flight ticket to their destination country.
- Applicants are also to provide a visa and entry permit to their destination country.
- Angolans with this type of visa are not allowed to either work or study while they are in the country.
- A document which shows that foreigners have the financial capability of leaving the country should be provided.
- Applicants who are not citizens of Angola are required to present a copy their stay permit in Angola.
- Minor would need to provide a letter of consent signed by both your parents. Documents needed include the original copy of your birth certificate is also required.
- All travelers are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever before departing their country. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever is required of the traveler.
- The Mali transit visa is not be extendable .
