Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Monegasque Visa.

Monaco Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Angolans who intend to visit Monaco for sightseeing, recreation and relaxation are eligible for this type of visa. 
  • This visa allows Angolans stay in Monaco for a short period of time. 
  • Holders of this type of visa can visit relatives, families or friends during the duration of their stay. 
  • A passport with a validity of six months beyond your intended period of stay is required.
  • Two recent identical photos taken within the last three months are required. Your face should be centred and evenly lit. The background should be in a light colour.
  • If you are going to stay in a hotel while you are in Monaco, a proof of your hotel reservation is required. Or evidence to support any other accommodation.  
  • If you are going with the assistance of a travel agency, you will need to provide the proof of your subscription to the packaged tour.
  •   Your host in Monaco has to write a letter of invitation and should include all the details about the host, home address, and his/her relationship with you. 
  • Angolans are not allowed to engage in business activities during their time in the country.
  • Holders of the  Monaco tourist visa can attend festivals and events during their time in the country.
  • The applicant has to provide a  letter from his/her employer for the Embassy. The letter should state the status as well as the number of years the applicant has been employed and indicate that his leave was acknowledged. 
  • A Certificate of Income Tax (CIT) is also required of the applicant.
  • A flight itinerary must be provided. This shows that you have booked a flight ticket from your home country to the closest French airport to Monaco, since Monaco does not have an airport.
  • A proof of a confirmed health insurance that would cover you during the duration of your stay must be provided.
  • A copy of your bank statement is also necessary; this shows that you are capable of adequately financing your stay in Monaco.: This document shows that you have enough funds to complete the entire trip without requiring any further financial assistance. 
  • Applicants are required to present a cover letter which explains the purpose of their visit to Monaco. The letter must contain details on when the applicant plan to enter and exit the country, and also where they will be staying throughout their time in the country.
  • You are expected to provide a document which proves your intended return to your home country. 

Monaco Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A valid Monaco business visa enables Angolans to travel to Monaco for business.
  • The Monaco business visa also allows Angolans to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
  • With a Monaco business visa, holders can meet up with business partners to negotiate and sign business contracts.
  • The applicants are expected to have a six months valid passport.

  • If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such an event must be submitted.
  • If you are self-employed, a copy of your business license and Income Tax Return will be required.
  • You are not allowed to be employed while you are in the country on this visa.
  • Angolan cannot  study in Monaco with this visa.
  • Minors are expected to provide a notarized travel authorization from their parents. The original copy of their birth certificate is also required.
  •  Once your authorized stay expires, you are expected to exit Monaco.
