Application requirements
Documents Angolan applicants need to provide.
- Original Angola Passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in New Zealand.
- A copy of duly filled and signed New Zealand visa application form.
- Two recent photographs that are taken against a white background are required.
- Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of the visit.
- Original confirmed return/onward air ticket should be provided.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in New Zealand.
- Original and photocopy of Income Tax Returns and photocopy of pan card.
- Original and photocopy of Investment documents are required.
- Original copy of bank statement from the past three months indicating that the applicant has sufficient funds for the duration of stay in New Zealand.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of the applicant's stay in New Zealand.
- Travel itinerary showing travel details, arrival and departure date from New Zealand.
Visa type details
Business visa
- A business visa is issued to foreigners who want to travel temporarily for business purposes such as attending business meetings, negotiating contracts and involving in trade fairs with other business partners in New Zealand.
- The Angolan passport in use for visa application must be original and valid for at least three months beyond stay in New Zealand.
- An invitation letter from the host company or organization in New Zealand should be provided during the visa application process.
- The letter should contain the company’s address, nature of the business to be carried out in New Zealand and duration of stay.
- Applicants are required to submit medical/health insurance for the whole duration of stay in New Zealand.
- Police clearance or report showing proof of good character and no criminal record must be provided.
- It is harder for people with a criminal record to be issued a New Zealand visa.
- For self-employed applicants, proof of business registration, a copy of the applicant's business license, and Taxation proof are required.
Student visa
- A student visa is issued to a foreign student that wants to study at an education institution, which is registered and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
- The New Zealand student visa application form must be completely filled and signed by applicants.
- Two recent passport size photographs taken against a white background is required.
- Covering Letter from the educational Institute indicating that the applicant has been accepted or has been given/granted admission to the educational institute in New Zealand.
- Guarantee of Accommodation or arrangements made by the Educational institute in New Zealand should be indicated in the letter of admission.
- If applicants have a sponsor in New Zealand, affidavit of support from sponsor and authorization Letter from Sponsor is required.
- Bank statements of the last 6 months showing evidence of funds and Income are required.
- If the Tuition fee is paid in advance, then a copy of the fee receipt should be submitted by the applicant.
- Applicants are required to provide educational certificates, Mark sheets, Degrees, and Diplomas.
- IELTS / TOEFL / PTE score is also required.
- Police Clearance Certificate from Regional Passport Office in Angola showing applicant has no record of criminal activities.
- Medical & T.B. X-ray Certificates from Panel Doctor in Angola.
Tourist visa
- A tourist visa is issued to foreigners for the purposes of tourism, family visit or friends' visit in New Zealand.
- A New Zealand tourist visa will be given to people who wish to travel and explore the country for tourism purposes.
- The tourist visa will be valid only for 90 days from the day of issue.
- Photocopies of previous passports and visa are required
- Proof of accommodation during the entire stay in New Zealand. Accommodation could be in the form of hotel reservations or letter of invitation indicating that the host in New Zealand will be accommodating the applicant.
- A salary payslip for the last 6 months is required.
- Income tax returns for the last 3 years.
- Travel/medical insurance for the whole duration of stay in New Zealand.
- A letter of invitation from the host in New Zealand should be provided. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host, purpose, and duration of stay and the type of activities to be carried out by the applicant inNew Zealand.
- The host in New Zealand could be the tour organization, friend or family member of the applicant.
- Applicants are expected to leave New Zealand at the expiration of this visa.
- Minors should provide a copy of the original copy of their birth certificate which carries both names of their parents and a signed consent note from parents or legal guardians.
