Application requirements

Tourist visa

  • The tourist visa is issued to foreigners for the purpose of sightseeing, visiting friends and relatives in South Korea.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not permitted to take up a job or engage in business activities.
  • Original Angola passport that is valid for 6 months after an intended stay in South Korea.
  • Passport should have at least 2 empty pages for South Korea visa stamp.
  • Original South Korea visa application form must be correctly filled and signed by the applicant
  • One passport photograph taken within the last 6 months should be attached to the application form.
  • Extension for South Korea tourist visa is possible in special cases such as accidents, health problems, and flight cancellation.

  • Business Visa allows foreigners to engage in business activities such as attending conferences, trade fairs, negotiating and signing business contracts in South Korea.
  • Angola international passport should be valid for at least 6 months
  • Passport should have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps.
  • A letter from the employer in Angola stating the awareness of business leave, the position held in the company, duration, and purpose of the business trip to South Korea.
  • Letter of invitation from the host company/organization in South Korea is required.
  • The letter should indicate the type of business to be conducted and the duration of the applicant’s stay should be clearly stated.
  • It should also be clearly stated in the invitation letter if the host company in South Korea will be financially responsible for the applicant for the entire duration of stay.
  • A guarantee letter from the host company in South Korea stating that will take responsibility for any criminal activities committed by the applicant while in South Korea.
  • Certificate of business registration of both inviting company in South Korea and home company in Angola.
  • If the applicant has engaged in business dealings with the same company in South Korea, the applicant should provide proof of previous business activities with the South Korean company.
