Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Uruguay

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Uruguayan Visa.


  • Angola passport with a validity of 6 months from the date of departure from the country.
  •  Passports must have two blank spaces for visa stamps.
  •  A completed visa application form that is signed and correctly completed
  • The parents/legal guardians have to sign the form if the applicant is a minor.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs taken against a white background is required.
  • Applicant’s bank statement of at least 3 months from the period of entry to Uruguay showing that the applicant has sufficient funds for the required duration of stay in Uruguay.
  • Applicants are required to provide copy of original travel documents.
  • Proof of financial capability.
  • Applicants should provide proof of accommodation/hotel reservations in Uruguay.
  • Original copy of the return flight ticket should be submitted.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to Angola such as national ID cards, photocopies of original property certificates, etc should be provided by the applicant.
  • An original police report showing that the applicant does not have any criminal record or has not engaged in any criminal activities in Angola.
