Sweden Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Foreign nationals who want to travel to Sweden for vacations can apply for this visa.

  • An invitation letter from the business partner in Sweden stating the type of business to be conducted, duration of the business, name and details of the company.
  • The letter should be stamped with the official stamp of the company and it should also state who will be responsible for the bills of the trip.
  • If the host company will not cater to the trip then a sponsor would be required.
  • For individuals who have been in previous business dealings with the company, they would be required to provide details of the transaction.
  • A return flight ticket to your country of origin, showing entry and exit date and flight information should be presented.
  • Applicants travelling to attend a conference would be required to submit proof of payment and registration for the conference.
  • Individuals are required to have a medical insurance that would be valid for the duration of the trip. This would cover any sort of emergency that might occur during the trip.
  • Employed applicants are required to submit a letter from their current employer in Botswana. The letter should state the applicant's position at the office and monthly wages.
  • Self-employed applicants should provide a copy of their business registration certificate and proof of tax clearance.
