  • Brunei citizens intending to travel to Germany can do so without obtaining a visa for a duration of 90 days.
  • Visitors must possess passports that are valid until the end of the scheduled trip.
  • Passports must valid for at least 3 months counting from the date of anticipated return to Brunei.
  • Visitors must provide at least two blank pages of their passports to obtain entry stamps.
  • Visitors are not required to pay any airport tax upon their departure from the airport.

Yes, all applicants, including children, have to make an appointment. For all children below 18 years, both parents need to be present at the Visa Application Centre to sign the VIDEX form. Children below 12 years do not need to be present. All applicants below 18 years, travelling alone or with one parent must submit a signed letter of consent or authorization form and passport copy of the parent not travelling.



Can a visa be extended in Germany?
No, you would need to reapply for a new visa in your home or country of residence.



How long is a Schengen visa valid for?
With a Schengen visa you can stay in Germany and other Schengen countries for up to 90 days, but this is a a so called “short-stay” visa which is valid for travelling purposes, not working or studying. If you plan to go to Germany to look for a job or have found employment, then you need to apply for a work visa. If you have been accepted to a German university you will need to get a student visa.
