- A Cambodian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Latvia.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
- Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.

Visa type details
Visitor Visa
- Latvia visitor visa allows the holder to go touring, leisure and visiting in Latvia.
- A Latvian visa application form must be completely filled and signed.
- If your application form contains incorrect information, your visa processing could be delayed.
- Two recent passport photographs must be attached to the application form.
- If you have been previously issued Schengen visa, you are to present them.
- Europe travel insurance confirmation of minimum 30,000 € is required.
- Applicants are to present a cover letter stating the purpose of their travel to Latvia.
- Detail itinerary of the trip including places to be visited and the duration of each stay should be provided.
- Return-ticket is required as proof that the applicant does not intend to permanently reside in Latvia.
- If you are going to visit a friend or relative, they need to send a letter of invitation especially if you would be residing with them.
- This invitation letter should contain the contact details of the applicant and the relationship between the host and applicant.
- If you do not have a host, you need to present a hotel reservation confirmation.
- Proof of sufficient funds of at least 14€/day for the duration of stay in Latvia should be provided.
- The short-stay Schengen visa allows a maximum stay of 90 days.
Business visa
- This visa is also a short-stay Schengen visa valid for 90 days maximum in every 180 days.
- It allows its holder to conduct businesses, negotiate contracts, and even purchase business materials.
- This visa also allows its holder to attend conferences and business meetings however, pre-registration is required.
- A hotel reservation is required for all business travellers. It must be valid through the visa application.
- If you are employed, your employer must send a letter stating that your trip is approved and who the sponsor if the trip would be.
- The inviting company in Latvia is also required to send a letter of invitation which should be written on the company's letterhead and signed by a manager in the company.
- The letter should state the nature of the business to be conducted and the duration of the business.
- Retired applicants are to present a copy of their pension statement for the past six months.
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided.
- Fees paid for this visa processing are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Medical visa
- This visa is issued for the purpose of medical treatment in Latvia.
- Before applying for this visa, applicants are to ensure that their passport is valid for up to three months after the intended departure date from Latvia.
- A letter from the doctor in charge of the applicant's treatment in Cambodia is required to issue a letter explaining the applicant's medical condition and why the applicant is being transferred to Latvia.
- A confirmation letter from the hospital in Latvia is also required.
- Applicants are to have medical insurance for their trip.
- Sufficient funds are also required with proof of part payment for their treatment.
- Minors are to have their birth certificate and letter of travel authorization from their parents or legal guardians.
- If you would be travelling for treatment to Latvia at your own will, you have to write a cover letter explaining why you want to undergo treatment in Latvia and not Cambodia.
- Patients must have a place to stay for the duration of their treatment, it could be in the hospital or outside the hospital.
- You can extend your Latvian Schengen visa but only in exceptional cases where new facts and special reasons arise after entry in Latvia.
- If your treatment is over 90 days, you would need to apply for a temporary residence permit.
