Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Maltese Visa.

Malta Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Malta visitor visa is a short-stay Schengen visa valid for a period of 90 days.
- It allows its holder to visit friends and relatives in the country, attend festivals and ceremonies and tour the country.
- Malta is a member of the Schengen agreement and as such requires that all travellers have a valid medical insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 euros.
- This visa cannot be used to engage in any form of employment, paid or unpaid while in Malta.
- Applicants of this visa are to have accommodation reservation in the country valid for their entire stay.
- If you have a host, you can stay with the host but the person has to send an invitation letter which should state the relationship between the applicant and the host.
- Details of places to be visited during the trip and duration of each visit is required from all applicants.
- Children below the ages of 18 are to submit a signed letter of travel authorization from their parents or legal guardians and a copy of their birth certificate.
- If you have a job in Cambodia, your employer is required to issue a visa stating that your trip is approved and you are on official leave.
- This visa is free from travellers below the age of 6, costs 35 euros for those within age 6-11 years and is 60 euros for those above 12 years of age.
Malta Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Malta business visa is issued to business-minded individuals intending to conduct business in Malta.
- A valid passport not older than 10 years and valid for at least three months beyond your trip completion is required.
- If you have been previously issued a Schengen visa, they should be submitted.
- Travel insurance worth up to 30,000 euros is required. This would cover any emergency that might occur during your stay in Malta.
- The inviting company is to send a letter of invitation to the applicant. This letter should state the nature of the business to be conducted, the duration of the business and details of the inviting company.
- If the inviting company would sponsor the business trip, it should also be stated in the letter.
- Proof of previously conducted businesses between the inviting company and the applicant should be provided.
- In the case where the company would not sponsor the trip, the applicant must provide proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
- Self-employed applicants in Cambodia are to submit their business company registration and trade license.
- All applicants are required to have an accommodation for their trip.
- A travel return ticket is mandatory. This would serve as proof that the applicant would return to Cambodia when the trip is over.
