Norway Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The visitor's visa to Norway is for persons who want to travel for recreational purposes.
- It is a short-stay Schengen visa valid for a maximum stay period of 90 days over 180 days.
- This visa can also be used to visit your friends and relatives residing in Norway.
- An invitation letter from the person you would be visiting is required. The letter should state the relationship between both parties and the duration of stay of the applicant.
- You are required to fill a Schengen application form. The application form must be completely filled as incomplete applications would be rejected.
- All applicants are to have a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond when their intended departure date from Norway.
- An original travel medical insurance certificate valid for the entire stay is required.
- Applicants are to have their flight return tickets as proof that they would return to Norway at the end of their stay.
- Sufficient funds are required for the intended duration of stay of the applicant.
- It typically takes about 2-15 working days to process this visa but it can be longer if the consul requires additional documents.
- Minors are required to submit their birth certificate and a signed letter of authorization from parents or legal guardians.

Norway Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The business visa for Norway allows its holder to conduct business activities and other related activities.
- It is also a type C, short-stay visa valid for 90 days in every 180 days.
- Applicant's passport must not be older than 10 years and must be in good condition with blank pages for visa stamping.
- If there are previous Schengen passports, the applicant is required to submit it.
- An invitation letter issued by the business company in Norway containing the details of the business trip, written on the company's letterhead should be submitted.
- The business visa can also be used to attend conferences, seminars and meetings.
- If you are travelling to attend a conference, proof of pre-registration for the conference is required.
- Employed applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating that the trip is an approved one.
- If your employer or business partner would sponsor the trip, it should be stated in a letter.
- Individuals with their personal businesses are to submit proof of their tax payment and a copy of their business registration.

Can I use my credit card in Norway?
