Slovakia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Slovakia tourist visa is for leisure, tourism and recreational purposes.
- It is also for visiting friends and families residing in the country.
- This visa is a 90-day visa and can only be extended under special circumstances as determined by the immigration officer.
- After every 90 days stay, you have to be out of the country for another 90 days before you will be allowed to re-enter.
- If you have been previously issued a Schengen visa, they should be presented.

Slovakia Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Slovak transit visa is a Schengen visa that allows individuals to travel within the Schengen area without any restrictions.
- There are two types of Schengen transit visa, airport transit (type A) and transit visa (type B).
- Type A transit visa is issued to individuals who are switching from one flight to another in Slovakia.
- This visa entitles the foreigner to only pass through the international transit area of airports.
- It is valid for as long as it takes to switch flights.
- Type B transit visa allows individuals travelling from one non-Schengen country to another non-Schengen country to pass through Slovakia.
- This type B transit visa allows a stay of up to 5 days on Slovakia grounds.
- Holders of the type B transit visa can go on tours of the country for as long as their visa is valid.
