Slovenia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Slovenia tourist visa is for persons who want to go to Slovenia for the purpose of tourism, festivities and other recreational purposes.
- This visa is given for trips that do not exceed 90 days in every 180 days.
- A hotel reservation or other form of accommodation valid for the duration of your trip is required.
- All applications are to be submitted by the applicants themselves.
- This visa can also be used to visit friends and families residing in Slovenia.
- The Slovenia tourist visa is a Schengen visa and as such requires the applicant to have a travel insurance confirmation worth a minimum coverage of 30,000 Eur.
- Individuals below the age of 18 are to submit a copy of their birth certificate and a notarized letter of authorization signed by both parents or guardians.
- You must have a way to sponsor your stay in Slovenia. Proof of financial means would be required.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or study, the visa is purely recreational.
- Those that are employed in Cambodia are to submit a letter from their employer which states that they are on an approved leave.
- If you have a host in Slovenia, an invitation letter from the host is required.

- The business visa for Slovenia allows its holder to engage in business-related activities uninterrupted in the country.
- It is a short-stay visa valid for 90 days maximum.
- Accommodation is required for every applicant travelling for business in Slovenia.
- The host company in Slovenia is required to issue an invitation letter stating the nature of the business to be conducted and the duration of the business.
- Evidence of previous businesses conducted should be presented if there are any.
- Applicants are required to have enough funds for the duration of the stay.
- Your employer in Cambodia or business partner in Slovenia can sponsor the trip.
- If you are employed, submit a letter from your employer stating your trip is approved.
- This visa is usually processed within 15 working days but could take longer if the Consul needs more documents.
- If you have previously been issued a Schengen visa, it should be submitted.
- Slovenia business visa can also allow its holder to attend meetings, conferences and seminars.
- It, however, does not permit corporate employment or seeking public funds.
