- Chad citizens can travel to Cameroon without applying for a visa if they intend to stay for a maximum duration of 90 days.
- Passports of citizens must have a minimum of six months of validity remaining upon entry into the country.
- Citizens of Chad are required to provide on the blank page of their passports for entry stamps upon entry.
- Chad citizens must present a Yellow Fever certificate of vaccination upon entering into Cameroon.
- Cats and dogs must be accompanied by a certificate of vaccination against Rabies as well as a certificate of good health issued by a veterinary authority less than 48 hours before departure.
- Travellers arriving with pets may be subject to a tax of 5,000 (CFA Franc-XAF) per pet.
- All visitors are required to pay an airport tax of 10,000 (CFA Franc-XAF) upon departure from the airport.
- Visitors are not restricted to carry any amount of currencies upon entry but visitors are required to make a declaration when they are exiting of 3,000,000 (CFA Franc-XAF) or more.
