Basic Travel Requirements for Chadians visiting Lebanon
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lebanese Visa.
- A visa application form is filled and signed by the applicant.
- A passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Lebanon. The passport must have at least two pages for the visa stamp.
- One passport-sized photograph with a white background following the visa application format.
- Photocopies of passport pages containing the full name, date issued and expiry date, and photo of the applicant.
- A bank statement from the last 3 months prior to the visa application showing financial capability.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Travel itinerary.
- Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation for the duration of stay in the country.
- A notarized parental consent from both parents is required for minor applicants.
- Minors should also provide a copy of the birth certificate and parent’s ID.

Lebanon Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to foreigners who intend visiting Lebanon for recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing.
- Applicants of this visa may also want to visit their friends and relatives residing in the country.
- If you are visiting a friend or relative in the country, a letter of invitation from your host is required. The letter should include the home address, telephone number, and valid means of identification of the host.
- Foreigners on this visa cannot be enrolled in any of the institutions of learning in the country.
- A letter from your employer approving your leave and stating continuing employment on return from the trip.
- Applicants are strongly advised to have a valid visa containing sufficient blank pages for stamps.
- Note that amendment pages of a passport are not acceptable for visa stamps.
- If you are under the age of 18, you are required to submit the original copy of your birth certificate. If you will be traveling with one or none of your parents, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be submitted.
- Travelers on this visa are expected to provide proof of the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visa.
- A receipt that indicates that payment of visa application fee has been made.
- Travelers on this visa cannot take up employment whilst in the country.
- Applicants are expected to obey the rules guiding the tourist visa.
Lebanon Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is for foreigners who want to engage in business activities during their time in the country.
- Business travelers can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners in Lebanon.
- Foreigners can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in the country.
- If you are employed, you are required to present a letter from your employer granting your business leave. The letter should also state the duration and purpose of your trip.
- Letter of invitation from the applicants' business partners in Lebanon stating the applicants' details, duration and purpose of the visit. The contact details of the company should also be indicated in the letter.
- Certificate of business employment of your partner company in Lebanon.
- The responsibility of your expenses, if it would be taken up by the partner company or your employer, should be clearly stated.
- For retired persons, a copy of your pension statement from the last 6 months is required.
- Documents that shows that there have been previous business dealings between the applicants' company and the partner company should be submitted if any.
- Proof of payment of paid visa application fee is required.
- If you will be traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided. Also, a notarized consent signed by both the minor’s parents is required.
- Travelers should have proof that they have the incentive of returning to their country at the expiration of their visa.
- You cannot take be paid for the services you render while in the country.
