Basic Travel Requirements for Comorans visiting Czech Republic

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Czech Visa.

  • The Czech Republic visa application form should be fully and legibly completed by the applicant.
  • Original Comoros passport should be valid for 3 months beyond stay in the Czech Republic.

Czech Republic Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Original Passport with 6 months validity with at least two empty pages.
  • The Czech Republic visa application needs to be duly filled and signed.
  • For children under 18 years old, both parents must sign the application form. 
  • Passport copies of the parents have to be attached.
  • One recent passport-size colored photographs with a white background (Size: 35mm x 45mm). 
  • Personal covering letter with entire travel plan
  • Original updated bank statements for the last 3 months with bank attestation. Bank statements will not be accepted if the bank seal is not on it.
  • Applicants are required to submit Income Tax Returns.

  • Travel Insurance (minimum coverage of EUR 30000) is required and should be valid for the entire period of stay in the Czech Republic.
  • For applicants that are not citizens of Comoros, a copy of their Residence Permit in Comoros valid for at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date is required.
  • Minors are required to submit a copy of their original birth certificate and a signed consent note from the parents/ legal guardian.
  • An invitation from the host in the Czech Republic stating the relationship with the applicant, duration of stay, and purposes of the visit to the country.
  • The host in the Czech Republic could either be family members, friends or tour organizations in the Czech Republic.
  • A copy of the travel itinerary showing dates of arrival and departure from the Czech Republic.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not permitted to take up business services in the Czech Republic.

Czech Republic Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicants must submit the original Comoros passport. Its validity must exceed the expected length of stay by at least 90 days (after the visa expires).
  • Original application form duly completed, dated and signed by the applicant.
  • The original passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date.
  • The passport must contain the signature of the applicant and must have 2 opposite free passport pages.
  • 1 recent 3.5 x 4.5 cm passport photograph white background and must be recent (not older than 6 months).
  • Original European medical insurance covering the whole duration of stay in the Czech Republic with a minimum coverage of EUR 30, 000 for medical expenses.
  • An original or notarized copy of a bank account statement held on your name showing proof of sufficient funds throughout the required stay in the Czech Republic.
  • Applicants can also submit a letter from the bank confirming the fact that you will be able to use your funds during your stay in the Czech Republic accompanied by the verified translation into the Czech language.
  • An invitation letter signed by an inviting company in the Czech Republic approved by Immigration Police of the Czech Republic is required.
  • The invitation letter must contain the full name of the applicant, passport details, period and duration of stay, the reason for a business trip, information on who will bear the cost of the stay, and confirmation that the applicant will not work in the Czech Republic and leave after the end of the trip.
  • A business letter from the applicant’s employer in Comoros clearly stating the awareness of the business leave, applicants position held in the company and date the applicant will be returning.
  • If there are previous business dealings with the company in Czech Republic documents or certificates showing proof of this is required.
  • Applicants that are not citizens of Comoros are required to provide a copy of their original residence permit.
