Basic Travel Requirements for Comorans visiting Czech Republic

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Czech Visa.


  • The Czech Republic visa application form should be fully and legibly completed by the applicant.
  • Original Comoros passport should be valid for 3 months beyond stay in the Czech Republic.
  • The passport must have two blank pages for the Czech Republic visa stamp.
  • One-color photograph 35 x 45 cm, glued (please do not staple) to the upper part of the first page of the visa application form.
  • Confirmed travel health insurance covering a minimum 30 000 euros and valid throughout the whole period of stay in the Czech Republic.
  • Documents supporting the possession of sufficient funds to cover expenses of stay in the Czech Republic and 
  • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation as proof of accommodation in the Czech Republic.
  • All documents must be presented in the original or notarized copy.
  • All documents must be presented with an official translation into the Czech language and verified in a proper way.
  • Flight itinerary showing dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from the Czech Republic.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of the visit to the Czech Republic.
