Malaysia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Malaysian student visa is required for those intending to study in Malaysia.
  • The application process and the list of documents required may change at any time.

  • This visa is for persons traveling to Malaysia for visit and leisure purposes.
  • Malaysia tourist visa can be for single or multiple entry and the visa holder is entitled to stay up to 30 days for each visit to Malaysia.
  • As a tourist, you are offered 3 types of Malaysia tourist visa, but your eligibility will vary based on various factors.
  • The different types of Malaysia tourist visas are the Malaysia eNTRI visa, 30 days single entry visa, and the 30 days multiple entry visas.
  • It allows its holdet to enter Malaysia a single time on this visa, and you are eligible to stay in the country for a period of 30 calendar days from entry.
  • The applicant must show proof of sufficient funds for staying in Malaysia.

Malaysia Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Work permits are issued for foreign nationals who intend to work in Malaysia.
  • These permits are valid for a period between 6 months to 5 years. 
  • Work permits can be in the form of either long-duration employment passes, temporary employment passes or professional visit passes granted to foreigners.
  • A passport valid for at least 6 months after entry into Malaysia, with at least three blank pages is required.
  • An offer letter, acceptance letter or employment contract would be needed as proof of employment in the country.
  • A Letter of approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs in Malaysia is also required.
  • An approved medical report of the applicant should be submitted with other documents.
  • Applicants can attach a Letter of Recommendation from a relevant company/agency in Malaysia.
  • Documents relating to the applicant's sponsor should also be submitted.
