Basic Travel Requirements for Eritreans visiting Mexico

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Mexican Visa.


  • An international passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into mexico and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • A fully completed and signed visa application form.
  • Minors are to have their  parents/legal guardians sign their form.
  • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken in white background.
  • Travel document must be complete.
  • A proof of sufficient funds to cover length of your  stay. 
  • Evidence of accommodation/hotel reservations during the duration of stay. 
  • An original copy of return flight ticket.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.
  • A police report to show you don't have a criminal record.
  • Medical insurance to cover entire duration of stay.
  • Documents which confirms the purpose of your travel.
  • A copy of travel itinerary.
  • International Certificate of yellow fever certificate.
