Algeria Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Algerian tourist visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to Algeria for tourism, vacation, visiting friends and relatives, or other leisure activities.
  • You are required to accurately complete 1 visa application form and sign it. An incomplete or incorrectly completed application forms may delay the processing of your visa request.
  • 2 passport-size photos (2x2 inches) taken with a white background must be submitted with the completed visa application forms.
  • Your confirmed travel itinerary must be detailed, showing entry into and exit from Algeria. You are advised to not purchase a flight ticket until the visa is granted.
  • You are also required to show proof of hotel or private accommodation in Algeria for the duration of your stay.
  • If you are visiting friends, relatives or travelling to Algeria to join a tour organiser, you are to submit a letter of invitation stating your name and the purpose of your visit to Algeria.

Algeria Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Ethiopians who intend to travel to Algeria to work must apply for An Algerian work visa.
  • You should apply for a work visa only if you have received an employment offer from a company in Algeria.
  • A visa application form must be completed accurately, signed and submitted with 2 recently-taken passport photos.
  • A copy of your flight itinerary should also be submitted.
  • An invitation letter from your employer in Algeria should be submitted. The letter should state your full name, the job you will be doing, your salary and a copy of your employment contract.
  • You are required to submit the original copies of your work permit and letter of repatriation, issued by the Algerian authorities department of labour.
  • You should contact your employer so as to get your work permit. Without a work permit and proof of employment in Algeria, you may not be granted the work visa.
