Basic Travel Requirements for Ethiopians visiting Israel

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Israeli Visa.


  • An Ethiopian passport that is valid for at least 6 months from your departure date from Israel.
  • A completed and signed visa application form.
  •  A photocopy of your passport and the visas in it.
  • 2 recent passport-size photographs (5x5 cm).
  • A copy of your confirmed itinerary.
  • Proof of hotel accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Israel.
  • Proof of financial means for the duration of your stay in Israel e.g. your bank statements of the last 6 months.
  • Proof of travel medical insurance that covers the duration of your stay in Israel.
  • A copy of your booked round-trip flight ticket.
  • Proof of payment of the visa fee.
  • The original documents required must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Federal Republic of Ethiopia.
