Basic Travel Requirements for Gaboneses visiting Canada

  • A completed and signed Canadian visa application form.
  • The Gabon passport will need to be valid for at least six months beyond the date of return from Canada.
  • The passport must have at least two blank pages.
  • Two-colour photographs that are recently taken within the last three months on a white background is required.
  • Applicants are required to provide a receipt showing proof the visa application processing fee has been paid.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of the trip such as three months bank statements, payslips and proof of investments.
  • Proof of ties to Gabon such as employment letter, proof of businesses or assets.
  • Copy of provisional flight booking and travel itinerary (i.e. accommodation reservations).
  • You may need to provide a medical history or proof of good health.
  • Previous passports showing travel history.
  • Minors (under 18) travelling alone will need a letter of authorization signed by both parents or legal guardians. 
  • For minors travelling with one parent, a letter of authorization from the non-accompanying parent or legal guardian is required.
