Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Australian Visa.

  • A valid passport which has a validity of 6 months after your intended date of exit from Australia. The passport must have two blank pages during the time of submitting the visa application.

Australia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to people who wish to visit Australia for tourism and vacation.
  • Those who wish to visit friends and family members residing in Australia also need the tourist visa.
  • Visitors to Australia must be willing and able to abide by the visa validity and conditions while in Australia.
  • If you do not abide by these conditions, your visa may be cancelled or you may be subject to other penalties.
  • You are not allowed to work while on a tourist visa, though limited volunteer work may be acceptable.
  • You must also not engage in any studies or training that will last more than three months while on a tourist visa.
  • You will not be allowed to enter Australia if you have tuberculosis.

Australia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This is the type of visa issued to Ghanaians traveling to Australia for business purposes.
  • A signed official letter from your employer confirming that you are undertaking this business trip on the company’s behalf is needed.
  • The purpose and dates of the trip will also be outlined in the letter.
  • If a number of trips are required/envisaged, this must be clearly stated in the letter.
  • If going for a business meeting, the Australian company you’d be meeting will also provide a letter confirming the trip.
  • If you are responsible for the costs of the trip, evidence of how you intend to finance your trip and support yourself for the duration of your visit must be provided.
  • You need to present details of any previous applications you have made for an Irish visa, including those refused.
  • Business migrants taking the first pathway must undergo a 2-stage progression to obtain residency.
  • As such, visa holders are first granted a Business Skills (Provisional) Visa for 4 years and, after establishing the requisite level of business or maintaining their suitable investment, will be eligible to make an application for a Business Skills (Residence) Visa.

  • If you enrol for a 3-year program, your Student Visa will be valid for 3 years.
  • The program you choose must be between 12 and 52 weeks in order to be eligible for a Student Visa.
  • Depending on the length of your course, your visa will be granted with the following additional times once you finish your studies:
  • For courses below 10 months of duration, you will be given 1 month extra.
  • For courses over the 10-month threshold, you will be given 2 extra months.
  • For courses over 10 months in which the term end date is December, you will be given 3 extra months.
  • The current fees in order to apply for a Student Visa (Subclass 500) are set to $575 AUD (Approx. 364€).
  • The price is always the same no matter the length of your studies.
