Entry Requirements
- Ghanaians visiting Pakistan must first apply for an E-visa.
- This online pre-visa can be granted by the Pakistani consulate in the applicant’s home country.
- On presentation of the pre-visa at the border checkpoint of Pakistan the traveler has then issued a visa on arrival.
- Your visa is valid for a maximum duration of 60 days.
- Your passport must be valid for six months at the date of arrival with at least two blank pages for stamps on arrival and departure.
- Visitors must declare $10,000 USD or more in cash before entering Pakistan.
- Ghanaians visiting Pakistan with pets must first obtain a certificate of vaccination and must obtain an import license from the embassy or the high commission.
- Visitors must have a valid passport, a copy of the return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds before entry into Pakistan.
- Ghanaians visiting Pakistan must check for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia, and influenza vaccines.
- Direct flights are available from the Kotoka International Airport Accra, Ghana to Multan, Pakistan. The estimated flight time is between 10 - 11 hours.
- Islam is the most widely practiced religion in Pakistan.
- Because the time zone currently used in Pakistan is the Pakistan Standard Time (GMT +5), Pakistan is 6 hours ahead of Ghana.
- Getting around in Pakistan is possible through various public means of transportation including Domestic flights, trains, Buses, Taxis, Car hires.
