India Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The tourist visa is appropriate for those who would like to visit India for tourism, and non-business related activities.
- Only recreation, sightseeing, casual visits to meet friends and relatives are permissible on a tourist visa.

India Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

- However, if the Indian company/organization has awarded a contract for execution of a project to a foreign company that does not have any base in India, such foreign company can sponsor the employee for work visa.
- An Indian work visa is valid for a year, irrespective of the duration of the contract. Further extensions of up to 5 years may be obtained from MHA/FRRO in the concerned state in India.

- Foreigners who are consultants on a fixed contract with an India company.
- Those who have gained employment as coaches of the national sport teams or a reputed team.
