General Requirements for Mexico Visa
Mexico Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Mexicans tourist visa is issued to Indians traveling to Mexico for tourism and visitation purposes.
- This visa is valid for 180 days.
- An invitation letter is required from the applicant traveling for tourism purposes.
- Currency restriction for entry into and exit out of Mexico is 10,000 USD.
- Proof of sufficient funds must be provided. This should come in form of a bank statement.
- A letter specifying the purpose of the trip and the dates of entry and departure is required.
- Proof of permanent residence in the country where the application is being made (India) is required.
Mexico Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants of this visa who intend to attend business conferences in the country are advised to register for the conference before they leave India. The certificate of registration should be submitted with the other necessary documents required.
Mexico Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Indians traveling to Mexico for work purposes are required to apply for the Mexican work visa.
- A signed letter of authorization from the Mexican Immigration Office with the NUT (Número Único de Trámite) number must be provided.
- Applicants must provide a signed letter of job offer from company in Mexico.
- Signed letter of registration of the company or employer (Constancia de Inscripción de Empleador) is also required.
- Letter of Notification of Authorization of Visa received by the Mexican Company is required.
- The following documents are to be provided by the employer:
- Permit application form.
- Copy of the Articles of Incorporation and amendments.
- Proof of payment of quarterly taxes.
- List of company employees and their nationalities.
- Copy of the legal representatives’ identification.
- Letters of support signed by the legal representative.
- Notarized letter confirming the employee’s employment.
- Applicants are required to provide a letter from their employer stating the agreed salary and their relevant technical ability (in some cases this must be accompanied by a photocopy of an official ID of the person who signed it).
- Original and copy qualification certificates is required.
- Original and copy of the last six month's pay slips/stubs must be provided by the applicant.
- Applicants are required to provide a birth certificate and their resume.
- Proof of payment of visa fees is required.
- Once your work permit has been acquired, you are required to apply for a residence permit.
