Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Namibian Visa.
- Original Indian passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended trip date. It should have at least one blank page for visa stamp.

Namibia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Namibian tourist visa is issued to Indians traveling Namibia for tourist purposes.
- There are two types of Namibia tourist visa:
- Single-entry visa: this visa is valid for 90 days and it costs 50 USD.
- Multiple-entry visa: this visa is valid for 90 days in a period of 180 days and it costs 100 USD.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination must be provide by the applicant.
- Upon arrival, check your visa validity before leaving the immigration counter to ensure that the visa stamp is valid for the length of your intended stay (up to 90 days).
- Overstaying your visa or having an incorrect or missing entry stamp can result in detention, arrest, and fines.
- Visitors traveling to Namibia with children should be prepared to produce unabridged birth certificates for the children demonstrating a parental relationship.
- The police maintain checkpoints approximately 9 miles (15 km) outside of main cities and all major highways. During the holiday season, additional checkpoints may be established along the Windhoek-Swakopmund highway (B1).
- Visitors are advised not to purchase diamonds and other protected resources outside of licensed retail establishments.
- If you are convicted of illegally dealing in diamonds, you can face up to 20,000 U.S. dollars in fines and/or five years in prison.
- Unlicensed purchase of or trading in endangered wildlife parts, such as ivory and rhino horn, is illegal and carries severe penalties including fines up to 1.1 million U.S. dollars and 15 years in prison.
- It is considered illegal to kill or capture any protected wild animals without appropriate permits.
- It is illegal to take pictures of government buildings, military installations, and key infrastructure, such as ports, train stations, airports, and along border areas. You could be fined, have your photographic equipment confiscated, and risk detention and arrest.
- The Namibian dollar (NAD) is the official currency. It is pegged to the South African rand, which is also legal tender in Namibia.

- Indians traveling to Namibia for business purposes can apply for the Namibian business visa.
- Indians can also apply for a business visa if they are traveling to Namibia for work purposes or to attend a conference.
- Indians can also set up a business in Algeria with this visa.
- A travel flight itinerary should be submitted by the applicant. The flight itinerary must show entry date and exit date.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination must be provided.
- A business letter from your company outlining the purpose and duration of the visit must be provided.
- A business letter from the host company giving dates of travel, purpose of the trip and guarantee of sufficient funds must also be provided.
- If there are any previous relations with the host company in Namibia, it's important that you show any documentation that affirms this business relationship.
- You are expected to leave Namibia before the expiration of your visa.
