Visa type details
Tourist visa
- The Philippines tourist visa is issued to Indians traveling to Philippines for tourism and visitation purposes.
- This visa is valid for 30 days but can be extended at the nearest Bureau of Immigration office in the Philippines.
- Visitors who overstay their visa will face fines and detention by Philippine immigration authorities.
- The currency restriction for entry into and exit out of Philippines is 50,000 Philippines pesos.
- Children aged below 15 years travelling to the Philippines unaccompanied by a parent must comply with a Philippine requirement called a Waiver of Exclusion Ground (WEG).
- The following documents are required:
- Clear photocopy of the data page of the child's passport.
- Clear photocopy of the data page of the passport of the accompanying adult or guardian.
- Payment of visa fees.
- Visitors traveling to Philippines for visitation purposes are required to provide an invitation letter.

- This visa is originally valid for 30 days but is extended up to 6 months.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for Indians.
- Visitors traveling with children should be aware that they may be required to produce documentary evidence of parental responsibility before entering the country.
- You may need to provide an invitation letter from the Philippine company you will be visiting. This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip.
- If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
- A letter of financial support or your bank statement from the last 6 months is needed. Self-employed people will submit proof of business registration.
- It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the Philippine company.
