Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Austria

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Austrian Visa.


  • An Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Austria.
  • The passport should contain at least two blank pages for affixing visa stamps.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any) is required. 
  • Completely filled and signed Austrian visa application form is required.
  • Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.
  • A cover letter is needed during the application process.
