Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Austrian Visa.
- An Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Austria.
- The passport should contain at least two blank pages for affixing visa stamps.
- Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any) is required.
- Completely filled and signed Austrian visa application form is required.
- Two identical passport photographs with a light background.

Austria Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- An Austrian visa is issued to applicants who intend to visit friends or family members residing in Austria and it can also be issued if you plan on attending ceremonies and holidaying.
- This visa is usually valid for a maximum stay of 90 days for a 180 period.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up any form of employment or enroll in any institution of learning during their stay in Austria.
- All applicants are to have travel insurance valid for the duration of their stay in the Schengen area.
- The travel insurance should worth a minimum of 30,000 € to cover medical emergencies that could arise during your stay.
- A cover letter stating your exact reasons for visiting Austria along with a detailed itinerary of your trip should be submitted.
- If you would be staying with a relative during your visit, your host is required to send an invitation letter.
- The letter should contain the host's address and contact details.
- If you plan on staying in a hotel, you are required to present the hotel reservation at the time of the visa application.
- If you have been previously issued a Schengen visa, you would be expected to present them.
- It is important that you have sufficient funds for the trip as proof would be required during your application.
- The proof could be in the form of a recent bank statement, payslip, pension slip or salary records.
Austria Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Austria is meant for applicants who want to conduct business-related activities in the country.
- You are required to apply for a new passport If your passport is older than 10 years.
- The passport should be valid for 3 months beyond your stay in Austria.
- To be eligible for this visa, a letter from your employer is required which should state the reason for your visit to Austria.
- The letter should also state the applicant's position at work and salary.
- An invitation letter is required from the partner company in Austria showing their detailed address and the date of their visit.
- A proof of fundings for the trip should be presented by the applicant either by the employer or partner company. This proof must state coverage of expenses on the invitation letter
- Hotel reservation is required for all individuals travelling to Austria for business purposes.
- Before travelling you must have travel insurance to cover any emergency that could occur during your trip.
- This visa cannot be used to apply for public funds or used for permanent employment in Austria.
