Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Bulgaria

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bulgarian Visa.

  • A passport with a validity of a minimum of 6 months after the end of the duration of stay.
  • A completed copy of the application form filled by the applicant.

  • The visa is for business-oriented people.
  • Holders of this visa intend to develop or maintain a current working relationship with companies based in Bulgaria.
  • An invitation letter from the company with which you want to transact business is required.
  • A certificate of registration of the company should be presented at the embassy.
  • You cannot be gainfully employed with this visa type.
  • Traveling with a minor requires you to have the minors birth certificate. You should also have a consent form that has been signed by both parents.
  • Onward and return ticket.
  • Medical report from a medical institution in Indonesia stating that you are in good health condition.
  • The visa costs $131 and takes about 10 working days to be processed.

Bulgaria Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This is for intending students. All those who want to study in one of the higher institutions of learning in the country.
  • A letter of acceptance from the university higher institution of choice is needed to be presented.
  • For underaged children traveling without their parents, an original copy of the birth certificate is needed.
  • After arriving in Bulgaria, the student should apply for a residence permit which is valid for a period of 1 year and renew each year till the end of the period of study.
  • Proof of means of sufficient funds. This shows that you can cater for yourself during your time in the country.
  • Proof of medical insurance.
  • You are not expected to work during the duration of your study.
  • The visa is valid for 180 days.
  • It allows its holders multiple entries into the country.

Bulgaria Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa type allows its holders to take up any form of work in Bulgaria.
  • Before you can start to work, you need to have a work permit that has been cleared by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
  • Work permits cannot be granted to Indonesians if the work can be undertaken by a Bulgarian.
  • If an employer has over 10% of foreign workers, he cannot employ more.
