Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Finland

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Finnish Visa.


  • An Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Finland.
  • The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form should be submitted.
  • Two identical passport photographs(35mm x45mm)taken on a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area is required.
  • A detailed cover letter explaining the purpose of your trip.
  • Proof of accommodation for the intending duration of stay.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
  • Letter of invitation.
  • Flight itinerary.
  • Birth certificate for minors.
