Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Greece
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Greek Visa.
- An original Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Greece.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
- A duly completed and signed visa application form should be submitted.
- Two identical passport photographs(35mm x 45mm) taken on a light background.
- Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 Euros and valid for the entire Schengen area should be provided.
- A detailed cover letter stating your purpose for embarking on this trip.
- Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in Greece.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
- Letter of invitation(if any).
- Flight itinerary.
- Birth certificate for minors.
- Return trip ticket.
- Proof of paid visa fees.

Greece Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Greek issues a tourist visa to Indonesians who want to experience the breathtaking sceneries the country has to offer.
- It is, however, a short-stay visa and allows the tourist to stay for a maximum of 3 months every 6 months.
- The Greece tourist visa can be used for vacationing, holidaying, partying and visitations.
- You are not allowed to take up any form of employment or to engage in work-related activities with this visa.
- All travelers must have travel medical insurance which would be used to take care of possible emergencies during the trip.
- Applicants are to ensure that they have sufficient funds to take care of their needs during their trip.
- A roundtrip ticket is also required as proof that you would return to Indonesia at the expiration of your visa.
- Applications are to be filled accurately and submitted in person at the embassy.
Greece Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Greece's business visa is issued to Indonesians who want to engage in business activities in the country.
- Holders of this visa can also attend seminars, conferences or to negotiate and sign contracts.
- Individuals traveling for seminars and conferences are required to pre-register and provide proof of pre-registration.
- A proof of accommodation whether in a rented apartment or a hotel during the period of stay is required.
- An invitation letter from your business partner in Greece stating the nature of business and the duration.
- If both parties have previous transactions then details of such transactions should be provided.
- Employed applicants are to present a letter from their employer in Indonesia stating the applicant's post at the office and that the applicant's trip is approved.
- Self-employed individuals should have proof of their company's registration and a copy of their tax payment details.
- You cannot engage in paid employment or apply for public funds with this visa.
- The sponsor of your trip should also be stated. The sponsor could be your business partner, your employer or you could sponsor yourself.
- If your employer or business partner would sponsor the trip, it should be stated in the letters sent by each of them.
- Applicants sponsoring themselves should provide a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.
