Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Hungary

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Hungarian Visa.


  • An original Indonesia passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Hungary.
  • The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport size photographs(35mm x 45mm) taken on a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.
  • A detailed cover letter.
  • Proof of accommodation valid through your trip.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
  • Letter of invitation.
  • Flight itinerary.
  • Birth certificate for minors.
  • Return trip ticket.
