Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Norwegian Visa.

Norway Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Norwegian visitor's visa is available for Indonesians traveling to Norway for tourism and business purposes.
- The currency restriction for entry into and exit out of Norway is 25,000 Norwegian Kroner (or equivalent), not including traveler’s checks.
- Applicants are required to provide a copy of their return-ticket reservation. It is not recommended to purchase the ticket before obtaining the visa if not otherwise required.
- A travel Insurance confirmation of a minimum 30,000 € coverage within Norway and the entire Schengen area must be provided.
- Applicants are required to provide a cover letter stating the purpose of the visit to Norway and itinerary.
- Proof of accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Norway must be provided.
- Proof of civil status (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable) must also be provided.
- Applicants are required to provide proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Norway.
- Visitors who seek to enter the territory of Norway need to attest to the Embassy or Consulate when applying for a Norwegian Visa owning of at least 500 NOK that are equivalent to 53.34€.
- Visitors traveling for business purposes are required to provide an invitation letter from the company they are visiting.
- The following documents are also required:
- A certificate from your employer stating/allowing your business travel.
- Proof of previous trade relations between the two companies.
- Business bank statement for the latest 6 months.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents.
Norway Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Norwegian student visa is available for Indonesian students with intentions to study in Norway.
- This visa is valid for 90 days but is extendable to the applicant's study duration.
- Most students who plan to stay in Norway for more than three months will need a student residence permit.
- Students are required to register at the police station as soon as they arrive in the country.
- Your original Indonesian passport is required.
- Confirmation of admission to an approved educational institution should be provided.
- Private health insurance or European Health Insurance(EHIC)
- Applicants are required to provide proof of admittance to an approved full-time education program.
- Evidence of sufficient financial funds for the entire period of study must be provided. You need to prove you have access to NOK 116,369 for each academic year (10 months), which is approximately US$14,350.
- Proof of accommodation must be provided such as a house, apartment, bedsit or room in a hall of residence.
- Proof that you will leave Norway when your residence permit expires must be provided.
- When you are granted a Norwegian student residence permit, you are also granted a permit to work part-time in addition to your studies (up to 20 hours per week) and full-time during university holidays, at no extra charge.
- You can also apply for a permit to work full-time for a limited period if you can prove that the work is relevant to your studies.
- on completion of your studies, you are eligible to apply for a residence permit for up to six months in which to seek employment as a skilled worker.
- You must be able to prove you have become qualified as a skilled worker during your time studying in Norway, or that you had specialist training before your stay in Norway and then undertook further education in Norway.

What is the legal drinking age in Norway?
