Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Panama

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Panamanian Visa.


  • One original Indonesian passport, with at least 6 months remaining validity.
  • One visa application form, duly accomplished and signed.
  • Copy of previous visa or permits approved by the Panamania.n authorities (if applicable).
  • Three passport photographs sized 35mmm x 45mm.
  • Copy of flight reservation with an itinerary from the travel agent.
  • Proof of sufficient funds, at least US$500 or credit card.
  • Bank statements, at least for the last 3 months.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Credit card statements, at least for the last 3 months.
  • Traveler’s cheque with the applicant’s name.
  • Income tax returns from the previous year.
  • Proof of income accepted by the National Service for Migration.

Panama is a country popularly known for its beaches, mountains, modern cities, and historic ruins. There are a lot of activities to do while they are in the country, Tourists can visit any of the beaches to relax and surf. Foreigners are required to declare currency of up to $10,000 on entry and exit from the country. There are strict laws regarding the import into and export from Panama of items such as firearms, ammunition, wildlife species, biological material, and food products.
 
Citizens of the following country can enter Panama for up to 180 days without a visa: Andorra, Angola,  Antigua y Barbuda, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Paraguay, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela.
