Romania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Romania issues a tourist visa for the purpose of vacations, recreation, leisure or sigh-seeing purposes.
- This visa is also called the symbol C/TU visa.
- Children under the age of 18 are to submit a copy of their birth certificate and a notarized letter of authorization from their parents or legal guardians.
- This visa can be issued for single entry or multiple entries but each stay must not exceed 90 days.
- The single entry visa allows its holder to enter the country just once but with the multiple entry visa, its holder can travel to Romania severally for as long as the visa is valid.
- Romania is not under the Schengen agreement but holders of a multiple-entry Schengen visa can travel to Romania without getting a separate visa.
- Confirmation of accommodation reservations in Romania is required for all tourists.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to be employed in the country or to take up any course of study.
- A trip itinerary showing all the places to be visited during the trip is required.
- All applicants who do not intend to travel under a tour agency are to provide proof of sufficient funds for their trip.
- Once you are in Romania, the purpose of your trip cannot be changed.
Romania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Indonesians who want to partake in business-related activities in Romania can apply for this visa.
- This application can be filled and submitted online.
- It is, however, advisable that the application is submitted at least two weeks before the estimated departure date and not over three months before that date.
- Holders of this visa can hire and train staff, become shareholders of Romanian companies, attend conferences and business meetings, sign and negotiate contracts.
- For individuals participating in conferences, fairs or meetings relating to trade, an invitation letter from the host company in Romania is required.
- It should state that if the individual does not leave Romania when the visa expires, the company would be held liable for it and would be made to bear any imposed fine.
- Accommodation for the duration of the stay must be settled before the visa application.
- Applicants are to have proof of sufficient funds in an amount not less than 50 euros per day for the entire duration of their stay.
- Medical insurance is mandatory for all applicants.
- Holders of this visa can enter Romania multiple times as long as the visa is valid. However, every 180 days, the individual can stay for only 90 days.
- You must have a valid return trip ticket confirmation as proof that you do not intend to stay permanently in Romania.
Romania Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Romanian student visa is issued to the Indonesians traveling to Romania for studies.
- An original Indonesian passport with two blank pages is required.
- Two recent passport photographs.
- A letter of acceptance from the Romanian Ministry of education should be presented.
- Proof of tuition fees paid for one year (payment must be done after getting the acceptance letter).
- Proof of sufficient means of support for the entire period specified in the visa (approximately 2500 Euros).
- Criminal record certificate or another document of the same legal value.
- Medical insurance for the entire period of visa validity.
- Approval of the parents or the foster parents in connection with the stay on the Romanian territory for study purposes, if the foreign citizen is a minor.
